PLEASE NOTE: At That Fish Place, our goal is to offer exceptional selection to all our customers. All the rare and exotic species you see on our website are also available to our in-store customers (excluding "Your Choice" items). Despite frequent updates, our website does not always reflect our available inventory. In the event that an item on an order is not available on the day of shipment, or a quantity of an item is greater than our available inventory, a member of our livestock team will attempt to personally contact you. If we are unable to contact you, or we have not gotten a response by 4:00 p.m. EST on the day of shipment, we will remove the unavailable items from your order and ship as scheduled. We do not backorder out-of-stock livestock.
In cases where a significant percentage of an order is unavailable at the scheduled shipment date, we will hold the order until we have contacted the customer. This may cause some delays in expected ship dates if the customer cannot be reached. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Live plants can not be shipped to P.O. Box addresses. We DO NOT ship livestock to Alaska, California, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
AQUARIUM PLANTS SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Shipments are sent Monday through Wednesday. (Thursday for overnight delivery)
Same day shipping on all orders placed by noon EST Monday through Wednesday.
Orders received Thursday through Sunday are scheduled to ship the following Monday.
POND PLANTS SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Pond Plants are only available from May 1st through September 30th
Shipments are sent directly from our Lancaster, PA store each Tuesday during the season, weather permitting
We receive fresh plants every Monday for Tuesdays shipment. We ship only fresh, bare root, ready to plant pond plants, and they are covered by our 5-day arrive alive guarantee.
Orders placed before noon on Friday will be shipped the following Tuesday. Orders placed after 12:00 PM Friday will not ship until the 2nd Tuesday. This is to ensure our customers receive the freshest plants available.
Please not that aquarium plants may be ordered in conjunction with pond plants. Combination orders will be shipped complete upon the arrival of the pond plants for the single $13.99 shipping fee.
HOLIDAY SHIPPING
Shipping will stop 2 days before a holiday and resume the next regular shipping day.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Some plants are seasonal and may be out of stock in the off seasons. (Octopus, Microsword, Rose Sword, Rad. Marb. Queen, Banana)
When ordering a large quantity of a single species (i.e. 25 or more of a single plant) extra time may be needed to process the order.
Severe or extreme weather may affect plant quality during shipping. That Fish Place may delay shipping of live plant orders if weather conditions threaten to compromise plant quality.
Shipped FedEx 2-day, Overnight, and Priority
All livestock orders are shipped directly from our state-of-the-art Fish Room located in our Lancaster, Pennsylvania retail store. This livestock is also made available to our in-store customers and as a result, our inventory is constantly changing. While we make every effort to keep our website as up-to-date as possible, retail store sales and unforeseen circumstances may change actual availability of any item. In the event that an item on your order is no longer available, you will be contacted by a member of our livestock team before your order is shipped to determine a replacement or refund for the item.
